  #Coppers4Coppers for The Dublin Simon Community   Friday 10 February 2017, Dublin: Dublin’s famous nightclub, Copper Face Jacks have launched a charity initiative #Coppers4Coppers to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Dublin Simon Community.   Entertainment Reporter on SPIN 1038 and influencer Doireann Garrihy, Official Dublin GAA Footballer Paul Mannion and former international boxer @Bernard Dunne were all on hand to lend their support to the initiative which seeks to highlight the massive increase in homelessness in Dublin and across Ireland.   According to the latest CSO survey on Income and Living Conditions in Ireland (Feb 2017), 789,855 people are currently living in poverty in Ireland with a 28% increase in homelessness reported from December 2015 to December 2016 (DECLG, 2016).   ‘The Dublin Simon Community are a long-established charity who do essential work towards ending homelessness, a socioeconomic issue which has taken root in Ireland over recent years. We are asking our patrons to support this initiative by donating loose change or texting ‘DUBSIMON’ to 50300 which donates €4 to the Dublin Simon Community’ said Carl Andreucetti, Marketing & Events Manager, Copper Face Jacks.   Speaking about the charity partnership, Sam McGuinness, Head of the Dublin Simon Community said:   “We were delighted to be asked to come on board as the charity partner for the Coppers4Coppers campaign with Copper Face Jacks.
